My Goals Til The End Of The Year

WOO, I'm back, it feels weird having a bit of a break. But in all honesty it was very overdue, I'm the kind of person that finds themselves running on empty quite a bit. It's something I don't want to be like obviously, but I'm very much an 'oh well I'll find time for a break later on' rather than at the moment when I need it. It's not exactly been a relaxing sit around do nothing, it's been more of a right I have a new job so my attention needs to be on that, I'm in the world of 9-5 so it's taken me some time to find my feet and get settled into the new routine.

But I feel like I've got there now, I actually do 7 hours a day so my trick to combat that is to do add an extra hour onto my day to go to a cute cafe and get some blog posts done. And with that, I wanted to set myself some goals so that this break and time to think was for more than my return post. My blog has been very up and down over the years, it's had an up and dow…

Week 2 - One Of The Best Concealers For Under £5

Hello everyone

Today Is week 2 of my savings series in which I aim to help save over £100 by telling you about any dupes to highstreet products or any tips that can help you save money. So this week I have decided to talk about one of my most favorite things I have ever got from a drugstore which is the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer which retails for £4.19 but is sometimes on offer for £3.99

Now this concealer come in 4 shades ranging from a very pale beige to quite a 'orangey' shade. What is really amazing about this is how good it is at concealing, I find that it covers my spots up so well and lasts for about 9 hours before it looks a bit worn out. I would personally wear this over foundation as concealer is not always needed and should only be applied if necessary.

The price is also amazing as you pay less than £5 for a concealer that is better than nearly most of the highstreet brands which to me is just amazing. I have tried several drugstore conceal…

Week 1 - Drugstore Dupe - Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Hello everyone

Today is the start of my weekly savings which is basically where every Friday I will be talking about maybe a dupe to a highstreet product and any possible ways to save money. So this week I will be talking about a drugstore dupe that is just so amazing.

Quite recently a new foundation from Giorgio Armani came out which is honestly such an amazing foundation except for the fact that it's about £33.50 , but I have found the perfect dupe which is the L'Oreal True Match foundation.

Both of these foundations offer the exact same things , they both have medium but buildable coverage which is something I didn't expect to find the same in two foundations. I find that they both give off a semi-matte finish which in all honesty I didn't expect the L'Oreal True Match foundation to have the same finish but surprisingly it does !

Also one thing that is just for me a personal lifesaver is how much they both …

Hello everyone - Quick update

Hello so today I am basically explaining a few things , at the moment I am in the process of revising for my exams which is my ultimate main focus then I have my exams which will not be ending til the end of June. So I have decided now that I will be posting a new post every Friday this will still allow me to post frequently as well as allowing me to revise.

Another reason is because I have been losing interest in Blogging so by blogging once a week I will have more things to blog about and I won't be feeling like blogging is a chore which is something I felt before.

So I would just like to thank you all for reading my blog and I promise to post every single Friday til the end of this blog which I hope is not soon.

Mini Spring Boots Haul

Hello everyone
Today I am going to be showing the things that I got when I popped into Boots the other day I wen't in as they had an offer on skincare and I noticed that there was an offer on the Garnier Micellar water (link to my review at the end) it was reduced to only £3.32 which is an insane deal so I had to pick it up. However this then lead me to purchasing a few other things.
These shameful other things were :
Maybeline 'Baby Lips' in Pink punch - Now I already had the 'baby lips' hydrate and found that it was ok but left a greasy feeling on my lips so I decided to pick this up and try it. I find that the smell is quite like that generic sweet smell that is nice but I really expected a really nice scent. What I like about it is the color it gives off its sort of like a very pale pink but it looks really nice and I find that it lasts for a reasonable amount of time and for only £2.99 it wasn't a bad price.
Montague Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Face Mask - Now…

Beautique Cosmetics 14pc Nail Library Review

Hello everyone

So Today's post is a bit late as I was meant to upload this yesterday but I was really busy however it did give me a bit more time to take a few photos of the amazing collection I am about to show you all.

So at Christmas I was given a nail polish set that I wasn't really expecting much from as I had tried the other makeup products the brand had and found them to be very disappointing. Now I don't believe in the fact that if anything is too cheap it won't work because I have found so many things that are absolutely amazing and have next to nothing for.

So the collection consists of 14 nail polishes which consist of :
-4 Glitter colors
-4 Metallic like colors
-6 average colors ( ranging from a pale pink to a very dark red.)

Now the first thing I will mention is the bottles as you can see the bottles are tiny which I actually prefer to the average size nail polish as they are easier to store and I think personally look cuter. Now the nail polishes are brilliant …

Hello everyone

Very Late March Favorites

Hello everyone

Today I am going to be talking about the things that I have been loving throughout the month of March now I know its no longer March but I have been trying to pick out products that I have literally been loving throughout the month of March.

One of the first things is the L'Oreal Glam Shine Stain lip gloss in the shade 'Romy' now I bought this after I bought my first one from Boots and have just been in love, the formulation is so good and is really moisturizing and lasts for quite a while. Link to my review :

I have also been loving a candle from Yankee Candle which is their 'Vanilla Lime' one as it just smells amazing and is quite a spring like scent. Also its not strong which is something I really hate in candles.

I find that when its summer I don't really want to light candles as I am mostly outside so I try to get my 'candle fix' in the spring as i…

Rimmel Fix & Protect Primer Review

Hello everyone

Today I am going to be reviewing a product by Rimmel its a primer that they brought out quite a while back that is meant to help keep skin smooth and maintained.
Now I personally think primers are best for when your face is a bit on the rough side so it wasn't a shock that I picked this up.

Honestly its amazing I never have been disappointed by Rimmel its just their eye shadows that I feel let the brand down but any way that's for another post. So this product is just amazing it makes the skin so soft and smooth that applying makeup just gets so much easier I actually am so glad that I got this product.

I know there is this whole debate about the use of primers and that we don't know what we are putting on but honestly people wouldn't use primers if they didn't think they were right, also when I first heard about primers I was pretty skeptical just because I didn't quite understand what they did but honestly I don't care whats in them they mak…

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder Review

Hello everyone

Today I am going to be reviewing a product from Bourjois , its their bronzing powder. I picked this up about two months ago from boots as I wanted to start to venture out to bronzers more. This product caught my eye due to the packaging and you will understand why in a minute.

It looks like a chocolate bar like seriously when I saw this I immediately picked it up the fact that the packaging is so different to any other blusher I have ever seen. Also the smell I mean the smell is just like chocolate which is so weird the smell is quite like a generic chocolate smell but it is still amazing.

I bought this in the shade medium/dark as I didn't want to get a shade too light. I don't really apply a lot of this product which is why this will take me years to reach the bottom of this. It does last for quite a long time which is quite good and it does look quite nice on the skin which is something I look for in bronzers.

Overall I do find it to be quite a good bronzer an…

Avon Solutions Truly Radiant Vibes Brightening Eye Roller Review

Hello everyone

Today I am finally going to be doing a positive review on a product by Avon , its their brightening eye roller cream. I have had this for over a year and find it so amazing for many reasons. This product is meant to help remove the appearance of dark circles and help make the eye are look moisturized for up to 24 hours.

I use this about 2-3 times a week depending on the amount of sleep I get , I just apply this at night and day and within a few minutes the dark circles have already started to go which is actually quite surprising as I was expecting it to take a couple of uses.

To get the full effect I would use this everyday with a few days break every now and then because otherwise you don't get the full potential from the product. Also did I mention it is only £6 (offer) which is surprisingly cheap and very shocking in fact.

I find this product to be excellent , the only downside which is just a personal issue is the whole roller idea as I just find that rollers pic…

Avon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray Review

Hello everyone

Today I am going to be reviewing a product by Avon , its their fast drying liquid spray for nails. Now I bought this quite a while ago as I was intrigued by how it apparently helps dry your nails quicker.

First of all this product is just weird because when you spray it onto the nails it leaves my hands and fingers feeling rather greasy which isn't helpful neither appealing. Also when I applied it I found considering I had heard some decent things about this. that it gave quite an awful shine on my nails and didn't really make them look nice which is quite disappointing. If I am being honest personally I think ruins my nails which I didn't expect

The smell of the product is quite nice its that generic sort of floral like scent that you get in most products like this, but I still find this product quite disappointing regardless of the smell. Now the drying bit , I find that this doesn't help them dry at all if anything it just adds an awful shine and makes…

Ysl Touche Éclat Foundation Review Update

Hello everyone

So today I have decided to come back to a product that when I first reviewed it I didn't really give it its justice and I just want to say how amazing this product is. I recently I purchased the ysl Touche Éclat Foundation from Debenhams and I love so I  have decided to share my views on the product .

"The light of Touche Éclat foundation targets shadowy areas and highlights the contours of the face. With no opaque powders, its perfecting texture evens the complexion and helps conceal your imperfections, while enhancing yourskin’s natural beauty. Illuminating foundation. Dimensional radiance. Weightless perfection." - Boots

Pros :

- It lasts up to about a year ( for £30 I won't argue )
- It has a nice design , looks expensive and classy
- Easy to remove
- Easy to blend in
- Helps hide away redness of any spots and blemishes

Cons :

- The pump is hard to control sometimes a lot comes out and sometimes hardly any can come out
- Can give a ' dewy ' fin…
