My Goals Til The End Of The Year

WOO, I'm back, it feels weird having a bit of a break. But in all honesty it was very overdue, I'm the kind of person that finds themselves running on empty quite a bit. It's something I don't want to be like obviously, but I'm very much an 'oh well I'll find time for a break later on' rather than at the moment when I need it. It's not exactly been a relaxing sit around do nothing, it's been more of a right I have a new job so my attention needs to be on that, I'm in the world of 9-5 so it's taken me some time to find my feet and get settled into the new routine.

But I feel like I've got there now, I actually do 7 hours a day so my trick to combat that is to do add an extra hour onto my day to go to a cute cafe and get some blog posts done. And with that, I wanted to set myself some goals so that this break and time to think was for more than my return post. My blog has been very up and down over the years, it's had an up and dow…

Week 2 - Best and Worst Mascaras

Hello everyone

Today is week 2 of my '8 Weeks of Drugstore' I have decided that for this weeks post I will mentioning the best and worst mascaras in my personal opinion in the Drugstore. I will be mentioning 4 mascaras ranging from different prices.

I personally am a sucker for the Drugstore and mascaras are something I choose wisely I want a mascara that can really help volumize my lashes as well as creating that fanned lash look. It is very rare that I will try a new mascara as I try to find the right one and when that's found I normally stick to it. Although I have tried mascaras in an attempt to find the right one for me and I feel like have found it in many different brands.

I will be starting off with the two mascaras that I find are the best for me personally. They are the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara and the L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara (£6.99)- For me this seems to be the best mascara it lasts for a long time…

Week 1 - Best and Worst Lip care

Hello everyone

So today I am starting my new series which is the '8 Week Drugstore Challenge' this challenge involves me talking about 8 different things each week. I decided that each week I will be comparing 3/4 products and rating them from best to worst.

To start off I have decided to do lip care as it isn't really something I really talk about and there are a few products I really like to use for lip care. I have decided to include one product that could be considered as a drugstore product but some people may think that its a highstreet product but I personally class all the products I will mention today as Drugstore products.

Now its time for my best drugstore lip care products now these products are ones that I have loved for quite a long time and are not ones that I have liked for a week and decided to talk about. Firstly the one that is a really good bargain is the Superdrug Aloe Vera Lip Balm. I bought this quite a few months back as I had noticed that my lips were…

Week 9 - One Of The Best Drugstore Primers! Savings Series Finale

Hello everyone

So this week is my final week of the saving series and I just cannot believe that in 8 weeks we have managed to save nearly £100 on makeup and some skincare now I wanted to finish the series with something big now I was going to talk about my three favorite drugstore mascaras but I decided to save that for another post instead I have decided to end the series on a product that is from a brand that is highly underrated which is collection.

So the product for the finale is the Collection Primed and Ready makeup primer , now I picked this up back in April and I have been using this product nearly every other day since and it isn't gone already. What intrigued me about this product was the fact that Collection do have some really nice makeup products which are just amazing to use and I wanted to try and find them all so I decided to try their primer.

For me a primer is not a 'desperate' essential but I do personally notice the difference myself when I do and don&…

Miss Sporty BB Cream Review

Hello everyone

So today I have decided to do a review on a product I  have been trying for a couple of weeks and I have finally made up my mind. Now this post is meant to be going up on Sunday but because I have a pretty busy exam week next week I will be revising all day tomorrow. Luckily I only have three weeks of exams left! (yay!)

A couple of weeks ago I was out shopping and decided that I would try a product I had heard a couple of people talking about which is the Miss Sporty BB Cream I hadn't really heard anyone absolutely love it but I have still decided to try it. So I picked up on in the shade Nude Radiance.

First of all there are only two shades which I personally don't understand because the two shades are similar except the second one Beach Radiance is slightly darker. The BB Creams costs £3.49 which is very cheap and actually the cheapest BB Cream I think out of the drugstores.

So the product itself is bad , I have tried this nearly everyday and It just doesn'…

Week 8 - Best Drugstore Lipsticks!

Hello everyone

So this week is week 8 of my saving series and I have decided that I am going to be talking about my three favorite lipsticks that are nice and are a complete value for money. So over the past few months I have decided to be a bit more adventurous with my makeup I have decided to be wearing lipsticks (nudes mostly) and even wearing blusher every now and then.

So a few months back I decided that I would spend around £8 on three lipsticks now I didn't know how it would work but I had high hopes that it would and it has. So I went into Superdrug and I was instantly drawn to the Rimmel stand. I had heard about the Kate Moss Lipstick collection a while back and I had really wanted to try one so I picked up one  in the shade 03 priced at £5.49.

Then I decided to head over to the MUA counter and I instantly also fell in love with two lips that I picked up and ran over to the till with. Surprisingly I stuck to my budget and spent £7.59 on three lipsticks (bargain or what?)
