Garnier Pure Spot Pen Review

Hello everyone

Today I will be reviewing a product I have had since May which is the Garnier Pure Spot Pen. I got this on the pure fact that I have been breaking out quite a lot recently and I badly wanted to try something that could help.

This 'pen' is meant to reduce the appearance of spots rapidly in just under 5 hours. I had been using this every night on any of my spots by using a very small amount of the product (as suggested) and after using it for about 3 months I can finally conclude my thoughts on this product.

I was honestly shocked by this, the idea of the product is nice and the sense that it is meant to help reduce the spot and its appearance. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this as a product to use if you want the spot to vanish overnight. However it is very good for speeding up the process of my spots going.

After using this product for nearly 3 months (using it everyday on any blemishes) I have found that it has been reducing my spots but in my personal op…

Week 6 - Best and Worst Liquid Eyeliners

Hello everyone

So this is Week 6 of my '8 Weeks of Drugstore' and honestly I have loved this series so far and I cannot believe it will be over in two weeks. I have decided that when this finish I will be doing a post every Friday where I will be sharing my tips and tricks on skincare and makeup and every Wednesday will either be a tag or a review of something.

This weeks best and worst is on Liquid eyeliners. Last week I wrote about the best and worst pencil eyeliners. I decided to separate pencil and liquid only because I would have been mentioning too many. So I have picked out 4 eyeliners 3 which are liquid and 1 gel eyeliner. I have chosen eyeliners from different brands that not only range in price but also range in quality.

Firstly I will start off with the two that I consider to be the best out of the 4 eyeliners I have chosen. These are the Barry M Blink Precision Eyeliner and the MUA Gel Eyeliner.

Barry M Blink Precision Eyeliner (£4.59)- This eyeliner I
actually picke…

The Liebster Award!

Hello everyone

So today I have a bit of a surprise post. This post is not only a surprise to you but to me also. In my latest post (Beauty Scenario Tag) Teryn an amazing blogger who blogs about travelling etc. Nominated me for the Liebster Award. Honestly this was a complete an utter shock I have been blogging now for about 7 months nearly and I honestly did not think that anyone really read  my blog it has sort of been something I have just done for fun.

First of all I would like to thank Teryn for nominating me I did not think I would be nominated and I am honestly so happy that I was nominated. The rules of the award is too firstly of course thank the person who has nominated you, write 11 random facts about myself , answer 11 questions the person who has nominated you has sent, and lastly nominate 11 bloggers who have 200 or under followers.

11 Random facts about myself :

1} My eyes are different colors, one is blue and one is green. They tend to switch day to day.

2} I am double jo…

The Beauty Scenario Tag!

Hello everyone

So today I decided to do a tag now I have already done one tag which was the I heart Drugstore tag. After doing that one I decided that I would do another tag which is the Beauty Scenario Tag. I will be answering 8 questions so lets get started.

Question 1 } You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?

I actually had to think about this for quite a while mostly because I like so many drugstore foundations. But I have made my choices. For the drugstore I would keep the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation just because it is one foundation that I feel really suits my skin and is probably one of my best loved foundations. For the highstreet I have chosen the YSL Touche Eclat Foundation , this is because I honestly love this foundation is has a slight dewy look and really compliments my skin.

Question 2} You go for an interview and the woman interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the su…

Week 5 - Best and Worst Pencil Eyeliners

Hello everyone

This post today is week 5 out of my '8 Weeks of Drugstore' and honestly I am kind of upset that the series will be ending in three weeks. I have really been enjoying this series and when this ends I have decided that every Friday my post will be on something to do with either skincare or makeup. I have decided that it will probably be some tips that I have and I would like any suggestions of you. I will be doing a new series probably 2 weeks after this series ends just because I am very busy this summer and I want to do some different posts. However any reviews or tags will still remain on a Wednesday and I have a tag coming up on Wednesday so check that out on Wednesday.

Anyway carrying on to this weeks post. Today I will be writing about what I find are the best and worst Drugstore eyeliners I have decided to mention 4 eyeliners. The eyeliners I will be mentioning are all pencil eyeliners and I have decided that I will leave the liquid eyeliners for next week on…

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation - Review

Hello everyone

As promised on Friday I said that I would be reviewing a product from Maybelline that I have currently been trying. So keeping with my promise today I bring you my review on the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation.

I noticed this around January time as I had been trying and testing different foundations because I wanted one that I really fell in love with (not literally that would be just slightly weird!) and after trying the Rimmel foundations I decided to carry on looking around. However I actually picked this up at the beginning of June after I had been using the L'Oreal True Match Foundation. I was mostly intrigued by the claims 'Provides perfecting coverage for 100% poreless skin' the claim is in fact massive and for a drugstore foundation I thought that this claim was too much.

Turns out it kinda was. I bought this foundation in the shade Ivory and for me this was slightly lighter than my skin but I was okay when I used a bit of bronzer. What I hav…

Week 4 - Best and Worst Blushes

Hello everyone

This is week 4 out of my '8 Weeks of Drugstore' and it is weird to think we are half way through. This week I have decided to talk about the best and worst drugstore blushers. Personally I don't really wear blushes that often but whenever I do I like quite a nice subtle one that isn't in your face. I have tried various blushes out of the drugstore and have found some that I really like and some that as you may have been able to notice , I haven't liked at all. I will be talking about 5 blushes that I have tried and used from the drugstore.

So as usual I will be starting this off by talking about the 3 blushes that I have found out of the 5 I have chosen that are the best. These three blushes are the Rimmel Mono Blushes , Bourjois Little Round Pot Cream Blushes , and the Sleek Blushes.

Rimmel Mono Blushes (£3.99)- I have previously mentioned this blush in my makeup for beginners kit , and for me this blush is really good the shade range for me personal…

Week 3 - Best and Worst Nail Polish

Hello everyone

So today I am going to be writing about the nail polishes that I have tried and tested from the Drugstore. I have decided to mention 4 products coming from different brands as well as ranging in different prices.

Firstly I will be talking about the nail polishes that I would consider to be the best out of the 4. These are the Barry M Gelly nail polish and the Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish. Now both of these are excellent and I honestly had a hard time deciding which of these I found was the overall best but I have come to a decision and for me it is the Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish.

Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish (£3.69)- For me this nail polish
is better than the Barry M one this is mostly because of the drying time it literally takes around 60 seconds for it to dry which for me is something I need especially incase I need to rush out quickly. Nevertheless it also has a really nice and almost professional finish which is something you wouldn't fully expect from a drugs…

Garnier Shine Control Moisturizer Review

Hello everyone

Today I am doing a review on a moisturizer that I have been currently loving for about a month or two. A while back I decided to get a new moisturizer as I was testing the Boots Hydrating Moisturizer which I do not recommend at all , and I came across this moisturizer.

I was instantly drawn in by the shine control as at times my skin can have a bit of a shine and can appear oily. I decided that I would give it a try for two weeks and decide about how I feel. I also decided to note how my skin felt and was before and after the moisturizer and I have noticed a clear difference.

First of all the shine control , for me this has worked fairly well the amount of shine I have has been reduced or 'controlled' if you want to call it that. I noticed this after about a week of using the product this then made me want to use it continuously.

The smell of the product is good it seems to have the same scent as all their other products. The texture is also good it isn't thick …
