My Goals Til The End Of The Year

WOO, I'm back, it feels weird having a bit of a break. But in all honesty it was very overdue, I'm the kind of person that finds themselves running on empty quite a bit. It's something I don't want to be like obviously, but I'm very much an 'oh well I'll find time for a break later on' rather than at the moment when I need it. It's not exactly been a relaxing sit around do nothing, it's been more of a right I have a new job so my attention needs to be on that, I'm in the world of 9-5 so it's taken me some time to find my feet and get settled into the new routine.

But I feel like I've got there now, I actually do 7 hours a day so my trick to combat that is to do add an extra hour onto my day to go to a cute cafe and get some blog posts done. And with that, I wanted to set myself some goals so that this break and time to think was for more than my return post. My blog has been very up and down over the years, it's had an up and dow…

Powder - The Tips and Tricks

Hello everyone

It's week 3 already of my new series and honestly I am really enjoying it, I feel like it is something different as normally I mention products but this time I giving you my tips and tricks on certain parts of makeup. The past two posts have been about my tips and tricks with concealer and foundation and now I am moving onto powder.

Powder for me at times is an essential as I have fairly oily skin from time to time using powder can help reduce shine and therefore make my face look less oily. It is also an essential for when I am going out for a long day as I want to make sure my makeup stays in place and using powder helps to set your makeup and help to avoid it slipping all over your face.

First off I will be giving you my tips, if you have seen my other posts you may have noticed a slight theme in my tips but they are crucial tips that need to be noted down.

Tip 1} Less is more - a lot of the time there becomes this almost need to feel like you need to layer yourself…

Change in Foundations ?

Hello everyone

Now as you may have possibly guessed from the titles today's post is not going to be a review or a part from my series instead it is something I have been wanting to make a post about for the past month and I felt like now was the right time.

So recently I had a bit of a clear up I altered my skincare routine and with that I decided to alter my makeup routine (blog post soon!) and with all this change I decided it was time for a change in products.

One of the most crucial things I have changed is my foundation, throughout the summer I had been wearing the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and absolutely loving it. But seeing as the colder days are upon us I decided that it would be better to go with a different foundation. I chose to re-purchase one of my most loved foundations the YSL Touche Eclat Foundation.

This foundation is fairly expensive but it works for me and at times everyone needs a little luxury. But what I have been doing with this is something I am currently…

Concealer - The Tips and Tricks

Hello everyone

So last week I mentioned that I had decided to do another series, and as you can probably guess I am back again this week carrying on the series. I am thinking of doing this series for the main parts of makeup like foundation, concealer, blush, and mascara. Although I haven't fully decided yet.

This week I am writing about my personal tips when it comes to concealers. I am a personal fan of concealers I don't necessarily need a lot but I have tips on the best ones and they best way to apply them. So without further a do let's begin!

Tip 1} Use it wisely - this might sound bizarre and slightly odd but what I mean by this is that some people feel like they should use concealer everywhere and basically in other words use it like its a foundation. Concealer is only meant for areas that you want to 'conceal' (hence the name.) If you apply it all around your face it will end up looking odd and will most likely draw attention to the things you wanted to conce…

Revlon Colorstay Concealer - Review

Hello everyone } Follow my Bloglovin! and my Twitter!

So just recently decided that it was time for a change, not only a change in my skincare but in my foundation and concealer. The post on my foundation change will be next week however this Wednesday I want to talk to you about a bit of a controversial concealer. The concealer that I am reviewing today is the controversial Revlon Colorstay Concealer!

I have and probably will be a fan of the collection concealer it has a dewy finish doesn't appear to shiny and blends in nicely. And I wanted to try other concealers that hopefully would match up to it. There had been a few reviews on this concealer that we stating that it was tons better than the collection one and honestly that drew me in straight away.

The concealer comes in quite a big tube and you do get a lot of product for your money's worth. The concealer has a doe-foot applicator which allows you to apply the concealer directly onto your skin. Now this is where the proble…

Foundation - The Tips and Tricks

Hello everyone } Follow my Bloglovin! and  Twitter!

A few months back I mentioned that I wouldn't be starting another series until about October and after thinking and planning out posts I decided that I wanted to do another series. The two series that I have done have become some of the most successful posts I have done. I really enjoy the series I do and I have been wanting to do another series for ages.

After thinking about what series to do I decided to do something I haven't really mentioned on my blog which is tips and tricks for makeup. I constantly review products but I never give the basic on how to use them correctly.

So I am starting off with the one that in my opinion is the one thing that is the best thing to perfect which is foundation. I wear foundation on a daily basis and when I first started using foundation I had some pretty awful mistakes and as I don't want anyone else to suffer the mistakes I did I have decided my advice and tips for foundation.

Tip 1 …

Boots Exfoliating Pads - Review

Hello everyone } Follow my Bloglovin! } Follow my Twitter!

Today I am going to be reviewing a product I recently mentioned in my current skincare routine post. These are the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Exfoliating Pads , so for the past few months I have noticed that my skin has been a little off and I have noticed that I am breaking out a lot more recently.

So I decided to look at my skincare and shake it up and one of the things I decided to try was exfoliating pads. Now I decided to get these as I felt like it would be good try something new and different which I very rarely do.

I personally have mixed views on these, they are part of the Boots Witch and Hazel range which I personally think is an okay range most of the products I have tried from their range have been amazing and worked really well.

These pads are meant to help remove bacteria and unclog pores. As well as to help keep your skin clean and healthy. So I have tested these pads for almost a month and I have around 15 l…

The Disappointing Products I Have Sadly Encountered

Hello everyone } Follow my Bloglovin! and Follow my Twitter!

Now as you may have guessed by the title, this post is a bit of a rant post. Now I am the sort of person that tends to try things when they first released or on offer or they are an impulse buy. So as you have probably guessed I don't always get an amazing product and I don't want other people to encounter the products that I have classed as you can probably guess disappoitning.

I have decided to mention a range of products ranging from skincare to makeup as I have definetly experinced bad skincare products. Now what I will say is that although they are a disappointing product to me they may be a great product to you this is just my opinion on the products.

So to kick things off I am going to be starting off with a moisturizer from Boots, it's there Boots Simply Sensistive Hydrating Moisturizer now I got this as at the time my skin was really dry and I really wanted a hydrating moisturizer that would solve that an…

The Breakthrough In Nail Polish Remover

Hello everyone } Follow my Bloglovin!} Follow my Twitter!

As you may have seen by the title today I am bringing you a review on a product I have recently discovered that has honestly become a break through in the world of nail polish remover. Now I know nail polisher remover will never be the most exciting thing in the world but the product I am reviewing today is pretty interesting really.

This wonder product is the Primark Nail Polish Twist Pot, this product is basically a sponge inside a pot that is soaked in nail polish remover. Now I know that was not the best way to explain the product but I honestly cannot make it any more magical than that.

The aim of this product is too remove your nail polish remover within seconds meaning that you will no longer need to use normal nail polish remover and end up using too much or too little. As all you have to do with this pot is just put your finger in the pot and twist is around a bit and after a few seconds your nail polish is removed.
