JLo designed this? L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick Review

I have always been a fan of L'Oreal. It has been the one makeup brand where I have managed to fall in love properly with there products. From their foundations to mascaras they don't have many products I could really fault. I recently picked up one of their celebrity lipsticks from the Color Riche collection. I picked up 'J'Lo's nude' which is a fairly deep nude shade.

After trying it for around 3/4 weeks I have practically fell in love with this. It gives off a matte finish, and the color pay off is great. It is a real 'your lips but better' shade that doesn't move or break throughout the day.

I am currently working so I always want my makeup to hold and not slip or move at least as possible during my shift as I don't really have the time to reapply it or fix it so any makeup products have to go under my 'work' test just to make sure they really stay on well. And this lipstick passes all the test.

I find that the lipstick can be drying at times, I would recommend seriously applying a little bit of lip balm before applying this lipstick as throughout the day it can become quite drying and at this point it can start to fade slightly.

Possibly my favorite nude lipstick so far!

After trying this lipstick for several days, I started to notice how familiar this lipstick looked to me. I swore I had seen this shade before and I couldn't think of it for around 2 days. So after sorting through my nude lipsticks, swatching them all individually it struck me that this is pretty much a close dupe to my Topshop Naturist lipstick. Which if you have ever read any of my older posts is one of my favorite nude lipsticks.

The lipstick retails for £6.99 which in my opinion is more than reasonable. You get a matte finish lipstick that manages to stay on the lips for around 4/5 hours before it needs to be reapply. In my opinion this could potentially be my favorite nude lipstick so far even beating my heavily loved Topshop Naturist Lipstick.

Overall I am a huge fan of this lipstick, If I was to improve anything I would just like it to be slightly more moisturizing but if you apply a bit of lip balm beforehand then the lip balm is then fine. So now I want to know about your opinion on this lipstick or maybe if you have tried the others or have any suggestions of any products I should try.

Until next time, Chloe
