Product Empties

I don't normally do these types of posts as by the time I come to finishing a product I normally just bin it and re-purchase it. A lot of the products that I don't get the chance to review just end up being loved and loved without actually mentioning it. So I am going to be mentioning some of my favorite products, most of which I have probably already mentioned but a few different ones that haven't appeared yet on my blog.

The first empty which is probably the one of the longest lasting products

for me is a lipstick. Going back to around this time last year I mentioned that I was obsessed with this lipstick. It's the Topshop lipstick in the shade 'Naturist' it has a slight almost purple/nude tint to it making it darker than your average nude, a perfect shade to wear in Autumn if you don't want to brave a bold purple lip. After using it quite a lot this year I am pretty much at the nub with it. Somewhere the gods must have heard me as I previously mentioned that out of all the Topshops near me and on the website I couldn't find it anywhere at all. But it has just recently gone back on sale. So I bet you can guess where I am rushing to when I get paid.

Moving along is a candle. I wouldn't say that I am a huge fan at times of candles. I really enjoy the scents but at times I don't spend enough time in my room for me to be able to burn it safely without me falling asleep. But the one candle that I have been managing to burn is Yankee Candle in the Scent 'Christmas Cookies.' Now I know that Christmas is well over 2 months away but this reminds me of cookies, and marshmallows. Everything good in the world really not particularly Christmas. I just find it to be a different scent compared to the standard fruity or floral scents that most candles are these days. And as you can see by the photo, I went out and re-purchased it straight after it ran out!

Brushing on over to haircare, I have had to say goodbye to my much loved tangle teezer, There was a lot of hype about these a few years ago but I never really understood the appeal until I purchased one just recently. And wow are they life changing, since using it I have noticed that my hair appears to be much softer. I am have naturally frizzy hair so brushing it is the last thing I want to do, but this brush makes it much easier for me to go through any knots without making my hair too much like a frizzball. And after using it for almost a year I was down to about 10 bristles so I have had to say goodbye and I am not waiting to re-purchase a new one.

Focusing onto skincare now, I have been absolutely adoring 3 products. However, these are three products that I have mentioned before in quite a lot of detail so I will try to be brief. First off is my much loved Garnier Micellar Water. This has been a product I have used for over two years now, it works great at removing my makeup or just helping clean my skin. I prefer to use this rather than wipes as I find it works much better. You could use this instead of a cleanser however, I only tend to do this once a week on those nights when I am feeling really lazy or sleepy.

The second product is the Garnier Moisture Match mattifying moisturizer. This is a perfect moisturizer for me, it helps to reduce my oiliness and keeps my face moisturized and hydrated throughout the day. I have probably gone through almost 4 of these as I cannot stop re-purchasing this as it works so well for my skin.

My last empty product for this month is the La Roche Posay Corrector cream, quite recently my acne has started to flare up again. This corrector cream helps to reduce any acne scarring, reducing any purple or scars in my skin from acne. I have gone through two of these and although it takes a few weeks for the product to really start working, I am so far loving the results.

This is just a few of the products I have been loving recently, there are plenty more but I don't want this post to be longer than it needs to be. If you have any recommendations for me to try then feel free to comment down below and it may be the next product I review.

 Until next time, Chloe!

  1. Garnier micellar waster is one of my favourite. It just removes my makeup well and I like how soft my face gets after cleaning it :)

    1. Same! I love it so much I don't really want to change to a different but i'm slowly trying haha
