Birchbox 3 Months On

Subscription boxes are a weird niche, they're a nice little pick me up each month tailored to you. For me, I've always wanted to try these and for the past three months, I've been subscribed to Birchbox. Each month I've received a bunch of products and I've given my verdict on them. I thought I would review the whole service after three months of purchasing and share my loves from the boxes and the ones you could definitely miss out on.

The boxes overall have been good, there hasn't been any in which I haven't been disappointed. The service offers boxes tailored to you, after filling out a quick questionnaire it helps to tailor the products to you. What I've found throughout the boxes is it's normally 1 or 2 products that you will receive that might be different to what other people receive. This means there isn't that much personalisation around the box and what you get.

However, I feel like the products in there, for the most part, are tailore…

December 10th - November Favorites

Now that we are fully into December I felt like it was the right time to share some of my favorite products that I have been using throughout the month of November.

Focusing on skincare, the first is an item that I have fell in love with recently. This is the Instanatural Spot Clearing Gel. I recently reviewed this and honestly this has been one of the only treatments that has helped my spots in the long run. After just one use this removed all the redness around my spots, improving the overall appearance of my skin. This is a luxury spot item which I know a lot of people don't like the idea of paying a lot. Which I completely agree with, but for the price of £17.95 you are getting a spot treatment that I can guarantee you works wonders.

Moving onto bases, I have fell in love with a primer through this month. It is the E.l.f Mineral Infused Primer. This aims to help smooth your skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As well as creating a smooth base for your makeup. For only £7.50 I am seriously surprised with E.l.f this is a brand I only recently really discovered and although I haven't tried many of their products I am pleased so far.

Another product from E.l.f that I have been loving recently is their High Defintion Powder. I had been looking into high definition powders for a while, I didn't want to pay the prices brands such as Makeup forever are charging. I am glad E,l,f has brought out their own version for just £7.50. This powder claims to mask fine lines, helping your makeup stay creating that high definition finish. I have worn this and compared to just me wearing a standard powder and I can tell straight away with standard powder, my face just looks dull, their is no brightness or anything.

My final favorite through this month is a skirt, I am venturing more into Asos. Something I wish I had done ages ago, after looking for a new skirt I came across this one. I call it my 'Velma skirt' if you ever watched Scooby Doo you will probably know what I am on about. All I need is the matching top and glasses and I am her altogether. For £20 this is the perfect Autumn themed A-line skirt I needed.

These are just a few of my November favorites, I will be featuring a few more of the products I have been trying recently soon!

                                      Until next time, Chloe!
