Best Spots in Manchester for a Good Old Drink

I'm surprised I've never really covered this before, but in the past year I've ventured out a bit and gone around town looking for the best places for a drink, from cocktails to ciders there's a range of places across Manchester that deserve a bit of a spotlight. I like a mixture of drinks and there's nothing worse than going to a new bar and choosing the same drink you have everywhere else, I like to try something different each time. So if you're looking for a new place to grab a drink take note of where am about to mention, from the Northern Quarter to Spinningfields.

First up, is Jimmy's if you're into the more indie scene of Manchester this is a great place to check out. They have a great range of cocktails, great music that you can't miss and they house a lot of gigs around the year. Some of my best gigs from the past year have been at Jimmy's and it's somewhere you really can't miss. It's a bit different to the rest on the lis…

December 5th - Christmas Films

With the days getting even closer now, I am getting more and more excited for Christmas. Now I think we can all agree that Christmas isn't Christmas without Christmas films.

I am sorry to say this but in 17 years of me being on Earth I have only fully watched 3 Christmas films, never seen Home Alone or anything like that. But my 2 of the Christmas films that I have loved out of the 3 I have watched obviously had to be Elf and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Now Elf is a classic, with Will Ferrell and Zoey Deschanel you will have been buried under a rock if yiu haven't seen this. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but this is the first film out of the two that I reach for the most. I can watch it as many times as possible and never get bored of it.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is aimed at younger people than myself, nevertheless I am still in love with it now! I love the fantasy element to this Christmas film. Based on a made up town filled with Christmas cheer all year long this is the perfect film to watch whilst putting up the Tree or if you just want to relax for a few hours.

I already know that I need to watch more Christmas films, but if any of you have any personal recommendations feel free to comment them down below.

                                       Until next time, Chloe!
