The Stay Perfect Foundation Review

I have never really used No7 before, I always felt like their products just didn't have that wow factor I wanted. But after hearing about so many of their products that have really hit in the makeup world. I decided to try out one of their foundations.

As I want quite a full coverage, stay on all day foundation. I was recommended to try the Stay Perfect foundation in the shade Calico. This was matched for me which was such a big help as I often struggle sometimes finding the right shade that suits my skin well.

This has a medium to full coverage, I have acne scarring that does get covered quite well with this foundation. I do have to apply concealer on over this but I normally do with most foundations anyway.

In terms of lasting power this doesn't have a 24 hour wear but I have worn this from around 7 in the morning to 8 at night, almost 12 hour. And it has stayed nicely on my skin. I did have to touch it up half way through the day but seeing as I was at college and then at work. I wasn't too fussed about touching it up.

The packaging is quite simple, although I am a fan of the frosted glass effect to it. The bottle isn't too big meaning that it's quite easy to travel with. The pump gives out a reasonable amount.

The foundation blends really easy into the skin, leaving a matte finish which for someone with oily skin like me is a blessing. I do apply powder after this just to help stop any oil from appearing. Priced at £14.50 this is the perfect foundation if you want to pay a little bit more but not high street prices. Comparing this to my loved L'Oreal Infallible Matte I prefer this one for the coverage and it is a great alternative.
