The Rundown On My July Favourites

This past month has been pretty crazy, I have had almost a month off of University. Which has allowed me to focus on the blog a lot more. I've been able to plan more posts and get onto a better schedule with my posts. I thought that it would be a good time to give you all the rundown on what things I've been loving this past month.

First up I thought we should talk about an app for a second, Buffer. And before the eyes start rolling and the people start scrolling this isn't a sponsored post. I found this app through bloglovin, it's a social media organisation app that has made my life a lot easier. I don't constantly have the time to post on my Twitter and google plus so it's a lot easier to have an app like this that allows me to schedule post. I have the free version that allows me to schedule 5 posts per day which for me is more than enough. I don't like to be the person that posts every 10 seconds about their blog so having a couple of posts each day is more suited for my blog and what I personally want. It also allows you to do reminders for Instagram, meaning I can get my photo and captions all ready and post it once the app has reminded me. I like to post my Instagrams at similar photos each day so this handy app reminds me in time to do so.

For once I'm gonna talk about music for a minute. I tend to go for more Indie music but I will listen to anything. I recently discovered China Lane, an electric pop Manchester based band. So far they have two songs publicly out but out of the two In Motion is my favourite. It reminds me a lot like songs from Tame Impala and the energy of the song just puts you in a good mood. I've had it on my Spotify playlist for so long and I can't stop playing it this month.

The last bit of lifestyle stuff is a book. I've been rereading the Diary of an Oxygen thief by Anonymous £6.99. I recommend anyone who is into dark and real books to give this one a read. It reminds me a lot like the Catcher of the Rye because the main character is a bit of a marmite one. You love him for a second and then hate him the next. I love that it's story based but it seems to go from past and present in the switch of a second. It's a really good book to read and doesn't require lots of time to read it as it's a light book.

Now for skincare and makeup I haven't been trying a lot of new stuff. As I have been spending a lot of days makeup free I've really just been clinging onto my skincare. One item of skincare that has really stood out for me is the L'Oreal Pure Fine Flowers Cleansing Milk £5.99. I did a little review of this a couple posts back but I really have been loving it. It's such a quick and easy way to take my makeup off and cleanse my skin and the gentle hint of rose and jasmine really helps to nourish my skin without being overpowering.

That's about it for the faves of this month. I'm gonna be posting more updates on my Bloglovin about the things I'm loving each week every Friday. It can be from Skincare to Home Decor. I am still posting twice a week on here every Wednesday and Sunday. Let me know down below what your favourite things from this past month have been.

                       Until next time, Chloe!
