Let's Talk That Hair Routine

Hair isn't something I normally talk about but it plays a big part in my general appearance. As a lover of vibrant red hair it takes a lot to maintain the colour and make sure it stays looking fresh and cute. For the record I have frizzy hair that becomes a mess the second you put a brush to it. I struggle to get it dead on straight so I tend to go for curly and more natural styles with my hair. My hair is long and thick so it takes a while to dry so I hate putting any heat on it as I have sensitive hair.

So let's start with the shampoo, I constantly use the Garnier Ultimate Blends Argan Oil Shiny Shampoo £2.50. This range features so many different ingredients to suit different hair types. This leaves your hair feeling squeaky clean and soft to the touch. It's tailor made for dry and dull hair to add a bit of life to it. I get the 400ml bottle and this has lasts me a good while as you don't have to use a lot to get the great results. This normally is on offer for £2.50 or there's normally a deal on this and the conditioners in Boots and Superdrug.

Alongside this I also use the Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Restoring Conditioner £2.50. This is perfect to care and condition damaged and fragile hair. This is such an amazing product to use especially after dyeing my hair to make sure it stays soft without getting too damaged. This leaves my hair feeling stronger and softer and it makes a massive difference for controlling the frizz situation.

The last bit of haircare I have been using is the Alberto Balsam Nourishing Oil with Organic Argan Oil & Jasmine Flower £4. This is a gentle oil for the hair that adds shine as well as hydrating and moisturising the hair. As this is an oil I only use this once or twice a week as it can make my hair look too oily if I use it a lot. But this is a really nice treat for my hair to help give it some tlc. This is available in some of the leading Uk supermarkets so you might as well stock up.

Now for getting my hair that vibrant red I always talk about, I use the Schwarzkopf LIVE Intense Colour Hair Dye in Real Red £5 this is a really easy semi permanent hair dye to use. I tend to use semi permanent hair dyes as I find this less harmful for my hair. I tend to apply this using a brush and trusty gloves and leave it on for about 30 minutes to get that bright red colour. This washes out easily although your shower or bath looks like a bloodbath in the process. The end result is nice looking vibrant hair that washes out after around 28 washes. I normally tend to redye my hair fully once my roots start showing as my hair does grow fairly quick. This is so handy and easy to use I couldn't recommend this range enough.

There we have it, an inside look into the bits and pieces that I use to keep my hair looking great. Let me know down below what your haircare essentials are and any recommendations. I have a new Bloglovin post up every Friday and a new blog post on here every Wednesday and Sunday.

                        Until next time, Chloe!
