Hidden Gems- Office Shoes

Shoe shoes shoes, I'm kinda obsessed just a little bit. I'm always on the hunt for something new and it's great to see all the new season stuff coming in. I always love a good boot or a trainer so I was surprised when I managed to fall in love with a lot of sandals. I like to switch my shoes up and go for a different style every now and then. I have checked out a couple of stores but I really found my love for Office this time around. I've found 3 of the top picks that I need to get, from a trainer to a loafer to even a pair of sandals that I never thought I would like.

First up is the trainers, now I love a pair of vans. They go with anything and are always comfy, in my opinion, the old skool ones are a lot comfier. But when I saw this pair I was sold instantly, you'd be surprised after my clear obsession with the color red that I only own 2 pairs of red shoes so that obviously creates an excuse to get these Authentic Red Platforms £54.99 yep you read that right. The classic authentic style with a platform it's a 5'3 gal's dream. Finally, a shoe that makes me taller without being in pain, you'd be surprised that I haven't already got these, they're definitely on my wishlist. The only slight downside to these is in terms of the backs, I don't whether it's me or the shoes but I find the backs on Authentics can get a little tough, a simple heel grip sorts this out but if these were an old skool style instead I'd be there straight away.

Next up is some loafers, now this spring summer the Crayola bright trend has hit big. Everyone is rocking the clash of colors and it's so good to see electric blue hitting the streets. I love the spin on a classic style and a pop of color to them. I love a good loafer you can switch it since I already own a similar pair to these in silver I was so excited when I found these. They are a bright blue leather loafer £69. With the classic loafer detail with that great gold hardware the blue really stands out with these. Now I mentioned the pop of color with the blue but this isn't too intense you couldn't wear them all the time, they're as neutral as they can be. And if you wanted to inject some color into your outfit this is a pretty good way to go without getting too ahead of yourself.  For me this is a must have, I find myself always going back to my other loafers and this is something that can be definitely carried into Autumn with me.

The last pair is the sandals, I remember seeing a style very similar to this from Clarks last year and I was so indecisive of them. I love the good tread sole and the almost steampunk style to them. The one's last year, however, were a little plain and I just didn't feel like I'd be lost without them. These bad boys turned up from Dr. Martens and I'm convinced this time around, they are a slightly different style but the good tread sole remains the same. With these, they are definitely expensive and a purchase I would really have to sit myself down and think about properly. For me I love the thick strap towards the front, it really adds a steampunk kinda vibe to them and with the buckles at the side and back it ticks all the boxes for me. It reminds me of a walking sandal but modern, which I never thought I would say in the same sentence. As someone who sells shoes for a living, it was surprising to see so many similar styles this year compared to last, this style is sadly underappreciated. So if other brands could jump onto the hype that would be amazing as £95 is an awful lot for these beauties.

I could easily write a load more pages about all of the shoes I want right now, these are my top picks before getting too greedy. I want a lot of pairs but these have to be the main essentials right now, let me know down below if you share a shoe addiction like myself. I'm tempted to do a budget shoe kinda challenge, I find myself seeing so many shoes at a cheaper price and it'd be great to put some of those to the test. Let me know down below if you'd like to see that as a little series.

Until next time, Chloe!
