Week 1 - Drugstore Dupe - Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Hello everyone

Today is the start of my weekly savings which is basically where every Friday I will be talking about maybe a dupe to a highstreet product and any possible ways to save money. So this week I will be talking about a drugstore dupe that is just so amazing.

Quite recently a new foundation from Giorgio Armani came out which is honestly such an amazing foundation except for the fact that it's about £33.50 , but I have found the perfect dupe which is the L'Oreal True Match foundation.

Both of these foundations offer the exact same things , they both have medium but buildable coverage which is something I didn't expect to find the same in two foundations. I find that they both give off a semi-matte finish which in all honesty I didn't expect the L'Oreal True Match foundation to have the same finish but surprisingly it does !

Also one thing that is just for me a personal lifesaver is how much they both 'transform' your skin , what I mean by this is the fact that both of these foundations just make your face just instantly glow and makes your face look like you are a greek goddess with how much it brightens and 'awakens' your face.

Also can I just mention the difference in price as the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation retails between £33.50-£35.50 which to me is reasonable but I wouldn't want to pay that if their is a dupe that is much cheaper which there is as the L'Oreal True Match Foundation is only £9.99 which is honestly such a difference especially for the fact that the foundations are literally exact to each other.

So this was my week 1 for my 'savings series' and I am really enjoying doing this and my goal currently is to try and save £100 by mentioning dupes of highstreet products or cheaper alternatives to the bigger and more expensive products. And just by this weeks post I have just helped save about £25.50 which is such an amazing saving and with my goal of saving £100 that means that there is only about £74.50 left which is so amazing and I can't wait for next week where I will be discussing one of the best concealers in 'makeup history' that nearly all of the beauty bloggers and beauty gurus on youtube rave about which is less than £5.
