Is the Missguided £1 Bikini A Real Bargain

If you're an avid fast fashion buyer or you like to stay in the loop, you would have seen that Missguided released a £1 bikini: a simple black triangle shape bikini ranging from sizes 4-24. The offer is for a limited time only; releasing 1000s onto the website each day. For some, this might sound like heaven. A cheap bikini perfect for Summer: a great staple. It even beats the prices of Primark and other brands promising cheap affordable clothing.

But how much of a bargain is this bikini for the consumer and the producers, when the bikini is only £1. This brings the question, how much is it really costing to make it? Are they really making a profit or are they shortchanging the suppliers and the workers behind that £1 bikini? When we break the bikini down it's all about polyester, which is largely unsustainable and harms the planet massively. So, if it's really worth that one photo of you on an inflatable in Greece then you do you, but for the rest of us, I think it's …

Top 5 - Toners

Hello everyone } Follow my Bloglovin!

So today's post is a bit different. I have decided to do a 'Top' 5 post I won't be making this a weekly series as I don't really want to be starting a new series until about October. So basically I have decided that every week from now until October I will be posting a review or tag on a Wednesday and a random post on a Friday. What I mean by a random post is basically a post about a skincare item or maybe a haul. This is basically because I will be starting college and I know I will be busy so planning to not start a series until October is really ideal for me and I hope people understand.

Anyway getting on with today's post. For me using a toner in my skincare routine has become an essential. I feel like people don't fully see the difference using a toner in your skincare routine can make. I notice after about a week of not using a toner how bad my skin goes.

A toner is basically meant to tighten pores and purify the skin. I have tried over 10 toners from the drugstore and I have managed to find at least 5 that I would have to say are my Top 5 Toners from the drugstore.

1} Garnier Fresh Refining Toner (£3.29)- This is a toner I am currently using and after using it for about 3 weeks I have seen how much it has helped my skin. The toner has Moringa extracts in it. This helps to purify the skin and help remove any impurities in the skin. It also helps my skin feel perfectly cleansed which is something I always want as I never want to feel like my skin isn't clean enough.

2} Clearasil Ultra Deep Pore Treatment Toner (£5.35)- This toner is the most expensive out of the five but it definitely works which is always the main thing. This was the first toner I tried and honestly I love it. It helps my skin wash away any impurities as well as tightening my pores. Although this fairly more expensive than the other toners it definitely worth it though just because it works so well.

3} Nivea Visage Pure & Natural Toner (£3.35)- I only tried this toner recently and I actually really like it. It contains Bio Aloe Vera and Bio Argan Oil which are two really good essentials for purifying the skin as well as tightening pores. However I did noticed that I used this up pretty quick I don't whether it was because of the way they had the packaging or whether it was just the fact that maybe I used too much. I don't know either way I really enjoyed using this toner. I would say that this is quite a very natural no nasty chemicals toner which is honestly what everyone needs the use of chemicals that aren't natural and could possibly damage your skin should never be used in toners or any skincare items. I also feel like when I use this it leaves a sort of natural feeling to it, as you can probably guess it is hard to explain but it just leaves my skin feeling all nice and purified.

4} Simple Soothing Toner (£2.99)- This for me is quite a basic toner it doesn't really make me think Wow what an amazing product. For me it is the sort of product that I would use if everything else was gone. However as much as I am currently making it not sound like a great product it still is. I don't necessarily get the feeling that my skin is perfectly cleansed and purified but it is a very good dupe to it. Basically it does the job of tightening my pores and purifying my skin I just don't get that feeling afterwards.

5} Garnier Clean & Invigorating Toner (£3.15)- This is again similar to the Simple toner I just mentioned. Except it is the sort of toner I would use if maybe I was having a pamper or
spa like day just because I feel like it really helps 'awaken' my skin and does make it feel fresh. I just don't get that whole 'I just stepped out of the spa feeling all calm and relaxed' sort of feeling regardless though like the Simple product it definitely does work and that is mainly what I want.

This is the end of this weeks post I hope you have found this useful. On Wednesday I will be reviewing some Oil sheets from Boots. Next Friday I will be posting about Face masks and why for me they are an essential. I hope you have found this post helpful if so then feel free to comment saying so.

Thanks for reading !
