Birchbox 3 Months On

Subscription boxes are a weird niche, they're a nice little pick me up each month tailored to you. For me, I've always wanted to try these and for the past three months, I've been subscribed to Birchbox. Each month I've received a bunch of products and I've given my verdict on them. I thought I would review the whole service after three months of purchasing and share my loves from the boxes and the ones you could definitely miss out on.

The boxes overall have been good, there hasn't been any in which I haven't been disappointed. The service offers boxes tailored to you, after filling out a quick questionnaire it helps to tailor the products to you. What I've found throughout the boxes is it's normally 1 or 2 products that you will receive that might be different to what other people receive. This means there isn't that much personalisation around the box and what you get.

However, I feel like the products in there, for the most part, are tailore…

Brand Review - Maybelline

Hello everyone

This week I am doing a brand review on Maybelline, I have not tried many products from Maybelline the products that I have heard about and tried have been really good. I will be mentioning three products that I really like from Maybelline.

Maybelline is an inexpensive makeup brand, there products are reasonably priced and do not break the bank at all. Sometimes there are offers on Maybelline products in Boots and Superdrug. Now onto the three products that I have loved from this brand.

Maybelline 7 Days Nail Polish £4.49 - This nail polish collection I have fell in love with, they have the nicest shades to choose from that aren't watery and sit perfect on my nails. This nail polish definitely has the gel effect and tends to last for 5-6 days without me applying a top coat. There is one shade in particular that I have loved from this range and it is Uptown Blue. The shade is a gorgeous baby blue which I absolutely love. I will agree that these nail polishes are more expensive than the Barry M gelly ones which I also like but I feel like this nail polish has a better gel look rather than it just looking shiny like I find some of the Barry M's one tend to do.

Maybelline Color Sensation Lip Liner £3.99 - This is a really good lip liner, I have never been a huge fan of lip liners and never understood the craze that people had with them but this definitely works. I personally love the shade Sweet Pink as it has a hint of a baby pink in it without making it look too bright. The price as well is another good thing about this as it is not only affordable but it lasts for a while.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow £4.99 - This is a fairly odd product of Maybelline's but I have only recently tried this about 2 months ago. I had finally given it to the reviews and just how nice the eye shadows looked. I personally am a huge fan of the shade Taupe it is darker than my skin tone but I feel like it compliments my skin and still gives it that natural look. The thing that I like the most is that they are long wearing eye shadows, they don't fade throughout the day and they don't lose there touch throughout the day they stay in place no matter what.

Overall, I am a huge fan of this brand so far if there are any products from Maybelline or any of the other brands I have reviewed please feel free to comment them down below and I may even review them.

On Wednesday I will be reviewing a new Sudocrem skin cream that is designed specifically for skin meaning that you can use it for acne. And on Friday I will be doing a brand review on L'Oreal. And I am even doing a bonus post this Sunday on my best things to do to get you into the Christmas mood.

Thanks for reading!
