The Highlighter Palette You Will Fall For

Highlighters have never really been my thang. I was always terrified to apply highlighter, walk outside and look as if I had been involved in a glitter fight. But when I saw this palette, I decided I might as well give it a try for £10

This is the Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette. Now first off the packaging, oh my it has a gold almost rose gold hint to it. This is my opinion makes it look slightly more expensive to it. the palette comes with 4 highlighters ranging from cream to full shimmer.

The packaging for the product has instructions on the back of the box as to where you should apply each shade. I found that for me this was extremely useful as I didn't have a full clue when I first looked at this palette.

My favorite highlighter in this palette that I want to start off with is Equinox, this is a bronze type shimmer that I like to apply just on my cheekbones. This settles in nice with my bronzer leaving my face with a natural subtle glow. Hemisphere is another one of my favorites, this is a highly pigmented shimmer, the one thing I would say is make sure you only apply a small amount as this has a lot of shimmer. Too much and you will look you just came out of a glitter war.

Subsolar is meant to be used mainly on the nose and mouth area, this is a subtle shimmer that is not as pigmented as the others. Meaning that it isn't as shimmery as the other shades making it perfect for applying on the nose to highlight it without going over the top.

Focusing on the cream shade Ecliptic, it recommends for you to apply this on your brow bone to highlight your eyes subtly, for me I find this to be too pink for my skin. I have to blend it quite a bit before it starts to look similar to my skin tone but it tends to lose its shimmer then.

The one thing I love the most is the pigmentation, Sleek is known for it's great bronzers and blushers because they have such a high pigement you would think they from a high street brand. I find that this tends to last all day even through some rain, as I found out the other day when I was walking round London in the pouring rain.

This is the highlighter palette that you need to get this season, for £10 you are getting a product that should be almost triple for the price just on the quality of this. This would be a great stocking filler as it is small, compact featuring a mirror and brush, plus it doesn't break the bank.

If you have any other highlighters that you think I should try comment them down the below and they could be coming up in a review soon.
