Is the Missguided £1 Bikini A Real Bargain

Image
If you're an avid fast fashion buyer or you like to stay in the loop, you would have seen that Missguided released a £1 bikini: a simple black triangle shape bikini ranging from sizes 4-24. The offer is for a limited time only; releasing 1000s onto the website each day. For some, this might sound like heaven. A cheap bikini perfect for Summer: a great staple. It even beats the prices of Primark and other brands promising cheap affordable clothing.

But how much of a bargain is this bikini for the consumer and the producers, when the bikini is only £1. This brings the question, how much is it really costing to make it? Are they really making a profit or are they shortchanging the suppliers and the workers behind that £1 bikini? When we break the bikini down it's all about polyester, which is largely unsustainable and harms the planet massively. So, if it's really worth that one photo of you on an inflatable in Greece then you do you, but for the rest of us, I think it's …

December 14th - Setting Spray Saviour

For me when it comes to makeup I want it all to last. I won't pay the price if it won't last all day. Sadly the 24 hour claim never really tends to work with a lot of products so the main things I look for are setting sprays.

I don't always have time to do a quick touch up so sometimes, that little help is needed. After noticing that my makeup was starting to slip out of place a little bit I picked up the L'Oreal Infalliable Pro-Spray and set makeup extender setting spray.

Designed to be used after makeup, providing a micro-fine texture this is the perfect little setting spray to use. For me I found that after a few weeks of testing this with and then without a powder on top. It does help my makeup to look better if I use the powder. However, it keeps my makeup stay in place all day.

Even though I would still like to have a little touch up, this does the job at keeping it in place and hides away any oiliness that may have crept through my makeup. The best way to use this is by spraying it in a 't' direction across the forehead and then two times around my cheeks. But make sure that you are spraying it from a difference as otherwise it can make your makeup just look wet.

I have been testing this out for a few weeks, and honestly I am really impressed with how well this works. For £16.99 on Amazon, although there is a UK version that I didn't realize until after I bought it for £7.99. You are getting a setting spray you won't be disappointed with.
