December 15th - Christmas Night Nails

So to tie in with my Christmas outfit posts, I wanted to show you a Christmas night nail look I have been wearing for the past couple of weeks. Now when it comes to Christmas the main colours are usually red, green, white etc.

When it comes to nails I want them to match with most of what I wear on a daily basis, so instead of going for the traditional Christmas. I have gone for a more glitzy rose gold and pink look.

For the base I am going to be using the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in the Shade Perfect Pair (532) this is a perfect little nude pink. I am not normally a fan of pink but this is quite a neutral beige like shade. I am in love with the gel envy range by Revlon, every shade offers a gelish like look to it. And considering this nail polish is much cheaper (£6.99) than getting actual gel nails done. I am fairly impressed

I usually apply two coats of this and then move onto the glitter. To make my nails look a little bit more special I decided to add a bit of glitter to them. And after falling in love with this shade from Maybelline, I knew I had to use it. It's the Maybelline Color Show Crystalise Nail Polish in the shade Rose Chic (232.) This gives a rose gold effect to my nails.

This polish can be wore alone as it gives off so much glitter without your nail looking chunky or gloopy. I normally prefer to apply this over a base just to help it last that little bit longer.

And then to seal my nails in place and to hopefully stop them from chipping I am applying the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat. This just helps to make sure my nails stay in place as well as giving a 'diamond' like shine to it.

This is just one of the nail looks I have been wearing over Christmas. If you are interested in seeing more of these, feel free to comment down below and it could be one of my next posts.

                                 Until Next Time, Chloe!
