December 24th - Christmas Eve Traditions

Now that it is just one day away from Christmas. I am beyond excited, it finally fully feels like Christmas. Every Christmas Eve I like to do the similar sort of thing. Now is the first year that I am working on Christmas Eve so my day has been cut in half really.

But the first thing I will be doing when I get back in running a bath. Christmas eve is like the day where I can relax before Christmas Day and then the Boxing Day sales start at work. I haven't decided to use a bath bomb but instead I have been using the Radox Bath Therapy Muscle Soak Hetbal Bath Salts. This is a 400g box so you are already getting a good amount.

I normally tend to just whilst my bath is beginning to run, add a few of these in and mix them around. This helps to scent my bath as well as removing that gritty residue from the salts. This helps to leave me feel relaxed and I like to use this is I feel unwell or just feel sore. And for only £1 I can't really argue.

I also like to add a bit of shower gel sometimes into my bath to add a bit more scent to it. To finish of using a miniature I used the Yves Rocher Raspberry Shower Gel, not very Christmasy I admit but this just has an incredible scent. This is priced at £5.40 for 400ml which is reasonably as this is typically an expensive brand normally.

Once I am in the bath I like to use a soap from Lush. The one I am using today is Karma. Infused with Pine, sweet orange, and lemongrass oil this aims to 'clear the mind setting you up for the day' now I can vouch that this definitely leaves me feeling relaxed and clean which is all I want really. This is reasonably priced at £4.25 for 100g.

The last thing I use is a body balm, I have been in love with the Baylis and Harding Moonlight Lavender moisturizing balm. The scent is incredible, definitely a nightime scent but when it is massaged into the skin this leaves a subtle scent on my skin for the rest of the day. I am quite sad as if you can tell by the bottle this has had plenty of use and I am now actually out it. As this was only part of a Christmas set this has not been remade so this is actually the last one now.

After my bath I like to snuggle up in bed with Christmas films. For me it can't be Christmas eve if I don't watch at least one Christmas films. I decided to go with the classics Elf and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. May I add that I knew every word to every song out of the Grinch.

At this point I am normally quite tired so this is where I say Goodnight and wake up to Christmas Day. I hope everyone has a great Christmas.

                                   Until tomorrow, Chloe!
