So University Is Finally Over

I've waited for so long to write this post, three years ago I was halfway through my A-Levels and I was ready to start preparing for University. It feels weird now to say that it's all over, and I can relax for a month before starting my new job. When I finished my exam I expected to have this uplifting ecstatic feeling, and I did but I was also left with this weird feeling that it's all over and that's it. It's weird when you've spent so long writing your dissertation and preparing for exams for it to just all be done, everyone finishes at different times and it's just generally weird.

But it makes me more than excited to start my new job and not to get all soppy but start a new chapter, I have a lot of good and bad memories from University. I made friends for life and also experienced parts of life I never thought I would, I always used to cringe when people said that University helped them change as a person. But I do genuinely believe it does something, …

December 4th - Christmas Lips

When it comes to makeup at Christmas I like to keep it fairly simple, as food will be eaten I don't want to have to be running off to re-apply my lipstick every two seconds. So I have chosen 3 lip products that are long lasting and will be food proof no matter how much you eat.

First up is the Kiko Smart Lip Pencil in 711, this is a berry plum colour. I have been a love of this lip pencil since the minute I bought it. It leaves a matte finish on the lips but doesn't make my lips feel dry at all. I can eat a chicken with this on and still have it looking good. For £2.50 you can't go wrong.

Next up is the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Lipstick in You're a Star, this is a lipstick I have only just recently reviewed if you want a more indepth review here. This is the perfect nude your lips but better shade that offers a creamy matte finish. This tends to last through most meals however I would suggest a little touch up at the end. For the similar price of £2.49 you can't argue about either of these two lip products so far.

Lastly, this is more of a luxury lipstick. It is the MAC Amplified Lipstick in Fast Play, this is darker nude shade that adds a slight tint to my lips. I would say it's inbetween a red and a nude. It offers a creamy finish lasting all day as well as keeping my lips moisturized. For £15.50 you are getting a lipstick that will last all day and will be food proof.

They are just some of the lipsticks that I will be wearing around Christmas, if there are any recommendations that you have feel free to comment them down below and they could be in one of my next posts.

                                                 Until next time, Chloe!
