So University Is Finally Over

I've waited for so long to write this post, three years ago I was halfway through my A-Levels and I was ready to start preparing for University. It feels weird now to say that it's all over, and I can relax for a month before starting my new job. When I finished my exam I expected to have this uplifting ecstatic feeling, and I did but I was also left with this weird feeling that it's all over and that's it. It's weird when you've spent so long writing your dissertation and preparing for exams for it to just all be done, everyone finishes at different times and it's just generally weird.

But it makes me more than excited to start my new job and not to get all soppy but start a new chapter, I have a lot of good and bad memories from University. I made friends for life and also experienced parts of life I never thought I would, I always used to cringe when people said that University helped them change as a person. But I do genuinely believe it does something, …

March Favorites - Makeup and Skincare

March has been a crazy month, an expensive month to say the least. After eating all my easter chocolate and spending way more than I should have on makeup and clothes this month I am ready to sit down and tell you about the makeup and skincare I have been loving this month.
First up is the NYX HD Green concealer, recently there has been a whole color correcting craze. Everyone was going mad for the color concealers that help to hide any issues with your skin. I picked up this concealer as my acne has been out of control recently. With them being redder than ever I decided to try this out. The consistency isn't as creamy as I would like and it does take a bit of time to blend in oerfectly. Nevertheless the stay power and finish of this is amazing. You definitely need to apply foundation/concealer/ or even a bb cream over this. But it lasts all day and helps to cover any redness perfectly. This is priced at £5.50 which for drugstore brands isn't badly priced. For my first concea…

My Skin Was Real Rosie Glow - Ooharr Rose Glow Face Mask Review

Face masks are one of my essential skincare items, there hasn't been one month where I haven't tested at least one face mask. Being a fan of mud to radiant masks I am honored to get the opportunity to try out so many masks from different companies.
The most recent one to my collection is the Rosie Glow Deep Cleansing Face Mask from Ooharr. This aims to help leave your skin feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Recently my skin has been looking fairly dull so this was a great little pick me up.
In each sachet you get 15ml and just as normal you apply an even amount all over the face giving it about 15-20 minutes to work and then wash it off. One thing I noticed straight away is that this seems to get darker the longer you leave this on. I am guessing this is an indication for when to take it off or whether it oils leaving the mask and sinking into your skin. But I like it as a little indication that it is time to wash it off.

Afterwards like with most masks my skin felt soft and c…

The £6.95 Beauty Box You Need To Invest In - You Beauty Box Membership

Beauty subscription boxes became all the range just over a year ago. From Glossybox to Birchbox everyone was going mad over them. Paying a monthly fee to recieve a box of beauty goodies on your doorstep sounds like such a good idea.
I wasn't a full fan when the idea first came out, I didn't feel like I would like any of the products any subscriptions were offering so I waited it out a while for more brands to come forward. Then I decided You beauty.
Considering this was my first beauty box I didn't want to spend an awful lot, £6.95 doesn't sound too bad considering the products I recieved. This subscription service allows you to choose 2 products you would like to recieve then based on that they send you out 3 other goodies as well to try.
This months box was based on relaxtion and care, the first thing I got was 2 samples of the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel. I have only used one sample of this as I am giving the other one away to a friend. But in all honesty I …

The Hair Secret You Need To Be On Board With

We've all had that day, you've woken up late. Outfit isn't working, makeup isn't cooperating and for the final part it is a bad hair day. Trust me I've been there more than enough times. Today I am sharing the one essential you need in your beauty collection. Dry shampoo.

Most people already know what it is. Dry shampoo is a spray shampoo that helps to clean your hair without getting it wet or going through the whole process. The main key part is that even if your hair is due a wash it makes your hair look washed, clean and fresh.

I used to use supermarket brands as I never really saw the need to be paying £2/£3 for Batiste as I felt like they did the same thing. Batiste is currently on offer at Superdrug so I decided to pick up Blush just to test it out.

First things first I don't really get any scent from this product which I know some people can be bothered about but for me it's more about how the product works.

The one thing I noticed straight off was ho…

February Favorites - Clothes and Lifestyle

This month I haven't really invested in some killer statement outfit pieces. Instead I have gone more on the comfort side. As I have been doing a lot of travelling around and a lot of stay in and do work nights whilst also trying to fit in a gym routine. I've been focused on finding outfits that are comfy and okay to where inside and outside.
First up are yoga pants. I had never owned a pair of yoga pants before the end of last month and trust me i am never going back. These are potentially one of the comfiest pair of workout clothes I have owned. As i'm doing all my workouts at home I prefer to get home put these on do my workout have a shower etc and wear these just around the house. They remind me a lot like leggings but the material is a lot thicker so I have managed to wear these outside of the house and not feel conscious that everything is on show. These yoga pants were from Sports Direct for £7.99 reduced from £22.

Next up is a jumper. Because it is still a little b…
