So University Is Finally Over

I've waited for so long to write this post, three years ago I was halfway through my A-Levels and I was ready to start preparing for University. It feels weird now to say that it's all over, and I can relax for a month before starting my new job. When I finished my exam I expected to have this uplifting ecstatic feeling, and I did but I was also left with this weird feeling that it's all over and that's it. It's weird when you've spent so long writing your dissertation and preparing for exams for it to just all be done, everyone finishes at different times and it's just generally weird.

But it makes me more than excited to start my new job and not to get all soppy but start a new chapter, I have a lot of good and bad memories from University. I made friends for life and also experienced parts of life I never thought I would, I always used to cringe when people said that University helped them change as a person. But I do genuinely believe it does something, …

What I've Learnt From Female Entrepreneur Week

The past week has been Female Entrepeneur Week. It's been such a great experience and I'm so happy I took part. The days were set for different parts of business, from influencing to finance it really taught me a lot. I learnt so much and it's really helped me get more focused on the business side of things.

Out of all of the days I found the day surrounding influencing and organising your content effectively was the most useful for me. I have been trying to be more organised with my content and making sure my posts are thought out and flow well. I've tried to find ways to make sure I am engaged with you guys and this day gave me so many ideas.

What this week really helped me feel more confident with this blog. I've always loved blogging but my confidence to go all out there has never fully struck. I thought that now that i am getting a bit more of a following through my social media that I would finally go all out and really launch this blog. I have seen so many n…

How To Keep Your Skin Looking Good In Summer With L'Oreal

In the summer I don't tend to spend as much time on my skincare as I normally would. It gets so hot and sticky that applying a load of products seems like a waste of time. I tend to stick with the products that still leave my face feeling nice and clean. My routine tends to incorporate a lot of spa's over Summer so I like to make sure I don't put too much in my skin incase it clogs my skin.

For cleansing I like to go for the L'Oreal Cleansing Milk. Infused with Rose this helps to really get rid of any dirt and makeup. Leaving my skin feeling so clean and fresh during the day. I normally rub this into my face to breakdown my makeup and then wipe off my face using a cotton pad. I go over my face with cold water to make sure all the excess is taken off and then my skin is good to go. I use this day and night as it's a gentle cleanser. It comes in a really handy bottle with a pump which makes it so much easier to get an even amount each time. I bought the 400ml size fo…

That Poppin' Glow From Colourpop

Couple weeks back I ordered some stuff from Colourpop. As it's mainly available online it can be quite expensive ordering often due to delivery and custom charges so I decided to order some stuff I knew I definitely would love using all the time. Out of this I now have 3 new highlighters I can't stop using.

Highlighters are something that I love trying out, I change my makeup a lot so I like to experiment with new products to create some different looks. I decided to go for some shades that were a little out of my everyday range and go with one staple shade. I picked up three of the Super Shock Cheek Highlighters in Stole the show,  Honeymoon, and Butterfly Beach.

These are a pressed highlighter formula which I've never used really before, it's not one that you can just swish a brush over which for me is something I'm new to. It took me a while to make sure I wasn't using too much so I tend to apply this using my finger onto my face focusing on the tops of my che…

It's Time To Empower Women- Female Entrepreneur Week

Few people have the tenacity to keep going when quitting is the more attractive option. Are you one of the few? For a while I felt like I was at a brick wall. I wasn't having a following and my posts seemed to be seen by me and nobody else. It's difficult in a community that is so big to really stand out. But anyone can stand out, it just takes the courage and imagination to do so.

Female Entrepreneur Week starts on the 21st of June until the 30th of June, empowering women who have their own businesses, blogs, creations. Anything that your inner girl boss has created. We live in a world where we can do what we put our mind to. Forget the objections and just do what you do.

This week has been created by Nadia Finer, she has inspired so many and really captured the essence of female empowerment. So many women have gone fourth with their ideas and really made it into something. My small idea years ago to write reviews and my thoughts have been created into this blog here which I …

Life Update: First Year Of University

It feels like forever since I sat down and did a life update, everything has all blurred into one big day that never seemed to stop. The weeks went by and each hour became more precious than the last. But now I can finally say that I have finished my first year of University.

I've always been interested in education so University seemed like a straight forward thing for me to go into. I didn't fancy the idea of taking a break but looking back on it I would've loved to have a gap year out. But this past year has been amazing and I'm so glad I went.

First year for me was all about experience, living with new people. Meeting completely new people and getting hands on with the course that I really wanted to do. Psychology has always been a passion of mine and I'm so happy I went through with it. Most people will tell you about their freshers experience and the stories from nights out which one day I'll probably share. But for me I noticed a lot of changes in myself…

Drugstore Summer Makeup Look

As it's starting to get warmer I thought I would really get a bit brighter with my makeup. Yellow is a big trend this summer so I decided to incorporate this into a eye look that is purely drugstore. I am really joying do these little looks for you guys and can't wait to do more soon.

To really bring the yellow in I'm gonna be using the NYX Hot Single Pan Eyeshadow in STFU £2.50 this is a bright out there yellow that is perfect for this look. It's a buildable shadow which with this kind of colour I prefer because I can get it to the intensity I want. The shadow itself wears pretty good, it lasts about 6 hours without any primer and with it's about 10-12 hours so it does a grand job there.

I normally use a primer for my eyes, especially with it being so hot at the moment I don't want my makeup to sweat off. For a primer I am using again the Maybelline 24 Hour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in Creme De Rose £5.99. I mentioned this in my previous look post and I honestly am…
