Best Spots in Manchester for a Good Old Drink

Image
I'm surprised I've never really covered this before, but in the past year I've ventured out a bit and gone around town looking for the best places for a drink, from cocktails to ciders there's a range of places across Manchester that deserve a bit of a spotlight. I like a mixture of drinks and there's nothing worse than going to a new bar and choosing the same drink you have everywhere else, I like to try something different each time. So if you're looking for a new place to grab a drink take note of where am about to mention, from the Northern Quarter to Spinningfields.

First up, is Jimmy's if you're into the more indie scene of Manchester this is a great place to check out. They have a great range of cocktails, great music that you can't miss and they house a lot of gigs around the year. Some of my best gigs from the past year have been at Jimmy's and it's somewhere you really can't miss. It's a bit different to the rest on the lis…

The Products I Will Actually Repurchase From The Past Month

I test out a lot of products. I find myself loving them for a while and then I start to fade away from them and move onto other products. Because I try so much and change my essential items their doesn't tend to be many products that I stick to for a long while. I thought I would tell you about the products that I will actually repurchase and why.

First up is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation £8.99. I used to love this years ago and it's been my go to foundation over the Summer. I never thought that I would rely on this so much but I've been loving the glow it adds to my skin. It's super affordable and a dream to blend and for my Summer makeup I want something that stays and keeps my face looking good. With the medium coverage it's great for Summer and I'm so happy that its lasting me through the hot and muggy days so well.

Next up we're talking about the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick £16in Posh Spice. I have been in love with this shade for a while. It's that perfect mauve shade that compliments any skin tone. I have used this up so much that there's probably 2 uses left if that. The matte finish doesn't dry out my lips and the colour stays on so well. Out of all the liquid lipsticks I have tried this is the best hands down in performance and finish.

I will also needing to repurchase the Sleek Highlighting Palette in Solstice £9.99. I used this up until I hit pan on all of the shades. It's easy to blend and lasts all day on my face. As a fan of a blinding glow I feel like I need this back in my life again. It's so cheap yet works amazingly.

To keep on top of that Summer glow and tan I've been using the St Tropez Bronzing Mousse £32.99 for a good couple of months now. It's an easy streak free way to get the Summer tan to match the couple of days of good weather we tend to get. It doesn't go streaky or patchy which is such an important thing for me. It lasts for a good couple of days and is more than easy enough to apply.

The last thing I will be repurchasing soon is the NYX Ultimate Shadow Warm Neutrals Palette £16. I have almost hit pan on every shade of the palette, they're such easy colours to change a look from night and day. As they are warm toned it really brightens the face up and works great when I have a bit of a tan.

So far this year they are the main products I will be repurchasing. Comment down below what your must have products are that you need to stock up on.

                           Until next time, Chloe!
