Glowy Warm Toned Birthday Makeup Look
It's finally time for me to share with you the makeup look that I did for my birthday. I was wearing this makeup all day so I wanted to use the products that were gonna stay on all day and keep my face looking glam. I've gone back to some old favourites to create my glam look for the day. Going for that warm toned glam look that we all know I can't be without on my birthday.
Starting with the base after my skincare I used the MUA Wonder Primer £4 and my gosh is this a dream. It's a smooth primer that helps to blur my pores and also help to calm down the pesky spots. Whilst this was doing it's stuff I applied my favourite eye primer it's the Maybelline 24 Hour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows in Creme De Rose £5.99, I've raved about this more than enough before so I won't bore you with the details on this but it's such an easy base for my eyes and makes it stay on all day.
For the foundation I am using the Nip + Fab Foundation £8.62. I recently did a full review on this here but I really love this foundation. It stays on all days and doesn't settle into any fine lines like a lot of drugstore foundations. For concealer I applied the Stila Perfecting Concealer £15, this is a brightening concealer that really helps to add a good bit of glow to the face. I set this using banana powder as I find it to be cakey if you don't set the concealer.
Once I've set my face I used the Bourjois Matte Illusion Bronzer £5.95 and for getting that good birthday glow I actually layered Makeup Revolution Golden Lights Highlighter £3 with a bit of Colourpops Stole the Show $8 to get a nice champagne glow. Sorted out the brows with some good old trusty NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette £8 and now its onto the eyes.
I used the NYX Ultimate Warm Neutral £16 palette using the third shade over my lid. This helped to matte down the creme eyeshadow and get the base fully ready. I then took this gorgeous orange shade at the bottom of the palette and blended this in the crease taking it over the lid. Once this was fully blended I went in with this mauve shade and swept this over the lid and used that orange colour again in the crease to really make that colour pop.
Now this wouldn't be a glowy look without a bit of glitter so I used this gorgeous gold shadow from the I Heart Makeup Explicit Content £7.99 palette and my god this works like a dream. It was so easy to use and sat on the lid perfectly. Once I'd lined and done my mascara I moved onto lips.
And there we have it, using almost fully drugstore products I got my birthday makeup look that stayed on all day and looked mighty fine. Let me know if you wanna see more rundowns on makeup looks and if there's anything in particular you want to see.
I post new content every Friday on my Bloglovin page and also a new blog post on here every Wednesday and Sunday.
Until next time, Chloe!
