My Goals Til The End Of The Year

WOO, I'm back, it feels weird having a bit of a break. But in all honesty it was very overdue, I'm the kind of person that finds themselves running on empty quite a bit. It's something I don't want to be like obviously, but I'm very much an 'oh well I'll find time for a break later on' rather than at the moment when I need it. It's not exactly been a relaxing sit around do nothing, it's been more of a right I have a new job so my attention needs to be on that, I'm in the world of 9-5 so it's taken me some time to find my feet and get settled into the new routine.

But I feel like I've got there now, I actually do 7 hours a day so my trick to combat that is to do add an extra hour onto my day to go to a cute cafe and get some blog posts done. And with that, I wanted to set myself some goals so that this break and time to think was for more than my return post. My blog has been very up and down over the years, it's had an up and dow…

Halloween Week: Outfits For Less

Halloween is coming up and I can't wait to spend the week talking through the outfits and makeup you can get for the occasion. I am a big fan of Halloween and I'm a big fan of making a real statement. You can't go to a Halloween themed thing without a costume so let's start with what Asos are offering for costumes.

If you want to go for that Morticia Adams kind of vibe without having the dress there is an amazing jumpsuit alternative by Boohoo £32. It has the plunge neckline with the 80's flare style pants to really make it an outfit. Pair this with a black wig and some grunge makeup and you're there with the look.

Incase you maybe want a more abstract outfit, there's this amazing spider web detailed dress available from Asos £28 as well. The mesh detailing is great to add a statement and paired with some heels and some spider style makeup you're on your way to being spooky for the season.

New Look also have a great selection of Halloween stuff again this year. From dresses to accessories you can get a full look sorted here for less. My particular fave is this pair of Glittery Pumpkin earrings £1.99. They're a cute little statement piece which can be worn day to day especially as we draw closer to Halloween.

Missguided have also stepped it up this time round with the Halloween themed. They have simple t-shirts to dresses so there's something for everyone. They have this gorgeous Gold lace mask £6 which is perfect if you want to go for a masquerade style of outfit. Or if you're rushed for time and want to make a simple but statement outfit. If you want to go for the Catwomen kind of vibe they also do this backless vinyl effect dress £25. It's that perfect in between sexy and staying as a costume. Paired with a good mask and your costume is complete.

For an actual costume, Party Delights do great budget friendly costumes. From head to toe looks to just the essentials they do a good range and with super quick delivery. One of my favourites has to be their Rocky Horror Magenta Costume £28.99. This includes the dress with a self tie waist so you'd only need a pair of fishnets and the wig and paired with the right boots and you've got your look sorted.

Let me know below what costume you are going for this Halloween. I'm torn between a zombie style or Rocky Horror. You'll be seeing my Halloween looks over on my Twitter and Instagram so head over to those to see the looks. I post every Wednesday and Sunday on the blog and every Friday on my Bloglovin so check them all out. I'll be back on Sunday showing you two Halloween makeup looks.

Until next time, Chloe!
