My Goals Til The End Of The Year

WOO, I'm back, it feels weird having a bit of a break. But in all honesty it was very overdue, I'm the kind of person that finds themselves running on empty quite a bit. It's something I don't want to be like obviously, but I'm very much an 'oh well I'll find time for a break later on' rather than at the moment when I need it. It's not exactly been a relaxing sit around do nothing, it's been more of a right I have a new job so my attention needs to be on that, I'm in the world of 9-5 so it's taken me some time to find my feet and get settled into the new routine.

But I feel like I've got there now, I actually do 7 hours a day so my trick to combat that is to do add an extra hour onto my day to go to a cute cafe and get some blog posts done. And with that, I wanted to set myself some goals so that this break and time to think was for more than my return post. My blog has been very up and down over the years, it's had an up and dow…

Vintage Shopping- Best Places in Manchester

Vintage Shopping has become big in recent years. We're going back in time with trends and your dads jumper from the 80's is finally in fashion. But where are some of the best places to grab a bargain around Manchester. I'm here to tell you about 3 hidden gems to get those best pieces.

First up and the cheapest is The Thrift Shop. Situated on the corner of Piccadilly Gardens it's a great place to pick up the best bits. From denim to leather jackets and even old sports jerseys. They offer a deal where selected items can be bought on a 2 for 10 kind of basis. Just check out for the colour on the tag for what price it's at. Bit of a weird find but I got an old Ninja Turtles Christmas jumper from their it was one of the best bargains I have ever got from there. It's the kind of place where you'll come across more of those eccentric pieces in.

For a bit more up there in price you've got Blue Rinse. Situated just before you get into the Northern Quarter near Afflecks this is the best place to get your oversized shirts. I have this statement burnt orange one from last year that I wear religiously all year long. It's reasonably priced and carries several brands so you're bound to get good value for money. With it getting so cold all of a sudden this is the best place to go to stock up on your jumpers.

The last place to check out is Cow. There's a few of these dotted around the Uk but Manchester is one of the best ones. It's got two floors with loads to choose from. I've got bags, tops, skirts the lot from there. It is a little up there in price for some of it but there's such a massive selection of stuff. If you were challenged to get a whole outfit there you wouldn't fall short for ideas. It's the kind of shop you could spend hours in checking it out. I go in every couple of weeks as they get new stock in regularly so definitely pop in and have a look.

There's a load of vintage kilo pop ups dotted around Manchester all the time as well so they're another great thing to check out. Apart from that it's making sure you spot the bargains and get a good deal. Something Urban Outfitters are selling could easily be in that thrift shop for a lot less so get spending.

Let me know about your bargain finds, until next time, Chloe!
