Winter Lipstick Essential

The nights are drawing in and it's getting colder by the day. I'm running to those cozy jumpers and getting that winter makeup out. With the makeup trends constantly shifting I thought we'd pause time for a second and talk about the lipsticks that are clinging onto me this Winter. From lipsticks to liquid lipsticks I'm keeping it very casual here today.

First up is the liquid lipstick you need to get your hands on quick. I never really did a full review of the Colourpop Liquid Lipsticks. I have 2 of the Ultra Mattes and for a quick run down they work great depending on the colour. Weird I know but the two that I have perform differently, I have limbo which is this gorgeous brown shade and it sticks to the lips and stays there like a trooper. It doesn't oxidise or run which I found my other one "Kapow" to do. It's easy to apply but I do recommend a little bit of lip balm beforehand to help your lips keep it on all day. I posted a photo of me wearing this on Instagram and everyone was going crazy for it so it's definitely one to get in the makeup bag.

Next up is a lovely little red one. You can't go through Winter and Christmas without a good old red lip. I'm rocking the Sephora Cream Lip Stain Lipstick in the shade Always Red. It's an easy red to rock and with a good wing your makeup is done. It's a very festive colour so it's one to get ready for those Christmas parties.

Next up is a little orange beauty, bit weird to include Orange but I haven't stopped wearing it recently. I have loved and raved over the L'Oreal x Balmain collaboration but this lipstick in Fever really is something. It stays on the lips all day and doesn't wash your face out. It's that great colour to have on for the day and even at night. It's definitely something that will catch everyones attention.

Lastly if you wanna go with that grey kinda vibe. Topshop do an amazing lipstick for you in the shade Boardroom. It's got a sheer tinge to it that I actually love as normally I'm a full colour matte gal. This purple almost frost bite colour is great to pair with any outfit. I normally wear this all day and then apply a bit more for the night time to get a full on look. It's a cheap way to get your Winter lip.

There we have it, let me know what kind of lip you're gonna be rocking this winter. I can't wait to get into the Christmas posts in fact I have a few coming up soon so stay tuned.

                       Until next time, Chloe!
