My Goals Til The End Of The Year

WOO, I'm back, it feels weird having a bit of a break. But in all honesty it was very overdue, I'm the kind of person that finds themselves running on empty quite a bit. It's something I don't want to be like obviously, but I'm very much an 'oh well I'll find time for a break later on' rather than at the moment when I need it. It's not exactly been a relaxing sit around do nothing, it's been more of a right I have a new job so my attention needs to be on that, I'm in the world of 9-5 so it's taken me some time to find my feet and get settled into the new routine. 

But I feel like I've got there now, I actually do 7 hours a day so my trick to combat that is to do add an extra hour onto my day to go to a cute cafe and get some blog posts done. Self Care Tips

I feel like every post relating to relaxation or uni is always at the stressful time. I've never hated the month of March so much until now, deadlines galore and side projects starting. It really isn't the best combo, I'm not the kind of person that can just drop everything and spend some me time. It just doesn't happen, instead, I have found some ways to make it all a little bit easier. My life is in no way stress-free but there are a few little tips I found for self-care, allowing you to still have a little you time even if you're surrounded by everything.

First thing for me is my hair, I let it go to a really bad state when everything was piling up. I found it was really nice to put a hair mask on, okay I couldn't sit there in absolute bliss whilst it was on. But my hair felt amazing afterwards and it really got me in a good mood, my go to when I have the time is the Garnier Ultimate blends Coconut Milk Dry Hair Mask, it's quick and easy to use and I couldn't be more happy about the results.

Outfit planning is another one for me, as I'm writing this I'm currently not dressed like the fashionable gal I aim to be. I'm pretty much in a tracksuit but comfort is key. I feel a lot better when I'm stressed if I have a little time and passion when it comes to clothes, I can plan what I'm gonna wear and feeling good in it. Nothing better than feeling good in an outfit whilst writing the worst lab report of your life.

These are all simple things we would normally do that don't massively impact your routine or workload but they allow you time for yourself. My next one is music, for me whether I'm working at home or out I have to have my headphones with me. I normally will take a 10-minute break every now and then to just have a little sing-along, it allows me to refresh and take some me time. And it's one of the best ways to get me motivated so why not get it for relaxing as well. For me I can't stop listening to Dua Lipa right now, she did an acoustic live set and it's the best way to get me to relax a little bit. It's the best thing to help calm me down and take some time out. 

My last self-care tip is to drink, I am a massive coca cola person and I can't stop having it all the time. On the days where I don't feel amazing, I love to go for more of a juice, it's nice to have something refreshing to have. It also mixes everything up which helps me to mellow out and have a change. 

For self-care I really do wanna keep it simple, there's nothing wrong with taking some time out and just have a bit of you time. If you spend all your time constantly doing stuff it stops being productive, you have to take time for you and that's never a bad thing. Let me know about some of your self-care tips.
