Best Spots in Manchester for a Good Old Drink

I'm surprised I've never really covered this before, but in the past year I've ventured out a bit and gone around town looking for the best places for a drink, from cocktails to ciders there's a range of places across Manchester that deserve a bit of a spotlight. I like a mixture of drinks and there's nothing worse than going to a new bar and choosing the same drink you have everywhere else, I like to try something different each time. So if you're looking for a new place to grab a drink take note of where am about to mention, from the Northern Quarter to Spinningfields.

First up, is Jimmy's if you're into the more indie scene of Manchester this is a great place to check out. They have a great range of cocktails, great music that you can't miss and they house a lot of gigs around the year. Some of my best gigs from the past year have been at Jimmy's and it's somewhere you really can't miss. It's a bit different to the rest on the lis…

How LinkedIn Has Helped My Blog: The In's and Out's

LinkedIn was something ancient to me, I remember being told about it in college and having no idea. It was pitched as the Facebook for people with jobs and I couldn't think of anything worse. Once I started University we heard all about LinkedIn again, this time it was to get us ready for the big world. At this point I had something to put on there, could talk my life away about the stuff I've done and it finally started to make sense. Since having my LinkedIn I've managed to get several job offers and see more what opportunities could be available to me when I graduate. I almost kinda feel proud when I go to my mine, I get to see what I've achieved and it's a good feeling, I wish younger me had realized how important this could be. So for those who are unsure and don't know where to start let's go through some of the in's and out's of how my LinkedIn helped boost my blog.

First off, it's the place to show off what you've done. Whether it…

Let's Throw it Back To 5 Years Ago

Looking back at the photos of younger me it's weird to see the changes. From my hair color to makeup, even to the eyebrows, I seem to have finally grown. My advice now is never plucked or even try to shave your eyebrows! let someone else do it. I tried to remove a few stray hairs with a razor and it was a full Angus Thongs n Perfect Snogging moment. What we can appreciate though is the development of my Makeup. I've gone from very minimal looks to finally step out of the box, it's good to see some of the brands I used to use are still alive and kicking. So I thought it would be good to go through some of the old bits of makeup that you can still get and have a look through some of my old looks.
First off, there seemed to be a real need for lipstick when I was younger. I remember using my pocket money to buy a new lipstick every couple of weeks. I didn't really buy a lot of nude lipsticks I found them all too peachy. I did, however, fall for a Rimmel one, the Rimmel Kat…

What Are You Gonna Wear To That Summer Wedding?

It's getting close to that Summer Wedding Season. We've got the warm weather and the amazing pieces coming out this year. From dresses to jumpsuits to the blazers you need. I thought i'd go through some of my top picks for this year. I'm talking dresses, shoes, the whole lot. It's time to go through the bits you'll want for Summer Weddings.

Let's talk dresses, first up is this plunge cold shouder mustard number £24.50. It's currently in the sale and it's an absolute dream. This is perfect for an all day outfit, if it's warm or cold this works great for both weathers. The mustard colour works great for Summer paired with a nude pump and a nice clutch it works great. Speaking of a nude pump this pair of tie up block heels £21 work great for the outfit. They could be worn either way for day or night. I love the satin effect they have, it works great for an all day wedding when you're gonna need something comfy. I love this kinda simple style wi…

The Girl Bosses You Need To Know About This Year

It's not often that we celebrate other people and their success, it's a weird thing in society but I don't understand. Why wouldn't you want to celebrate people's success it doesn't discourage your own. I thought we'd spend a good amount of time talking about some of the lady bosses you need to know about, from youtubers to bloggers to Instagram babes these are some of the people that have inspired me on a daily basis.

First off is Megan Ellaby, a fellow Manchester-based blogger she has a youtube channel and oh my is she a darling. She is a fun light hearted person and that fashion sense wow I am in love. She was one of the first bloggers that I engaged with, constantly checking her social media and falling in love with every outfit. She's also an absolute sweetheart, she inspires me to take the blogging gig full time. I'd love to be able to devote more time to my blog I'd be able to put all my passion into this blog. Apart from the outfit love …
