So University Is Finally Over

I've waited for so long to write this post, three years ago I was halfway through my A-Levels and I was ready to start preparing for University. It feels weird now to say that it's all over, and I can relax for a month before starting my new job. When I finished my exam I expected to have this uplifting ecstatic feeling, and I did but I was also left with this weird feeling that it's all over and that's it. It's weird when you've spent so long writing your dissertation and preparing for exams for it to just all be done, everyone finishes at different times and it's just generally weird.

But it makes me more than excited to start my new job and not to get all soppy but start a new chapter, I have a lot of good and bad memories from University. I made friends for life and also experienced parts of life I never thought I would, I always used to cringe when people said that University helped them change as a person. But I do genuinely believe it does something, …

I've Got What Pierced???

I've always been fascinated by piercings, you can have them in so many different places and different styles and they really just let you switch things up. For me I always dreamt of having an ear full, now I have 9 ear piercings and I love them all. Some were quick do it without really thinking decisions but you get a bit of an addicition for them once they're done. I dream of having the magic number 10 but I thought for now let's kick back and talk about where and what i've had pierced, did they hurt, and how they're doing now!

First off are the classic lobes, I have 3 on both ear and I waited a while in between each one to get them done. My first bit of advice with any piercing is to take a considerable amount of time between each piercing so they can heal and be all good to go. Lobes didn't hurt and the aftercare was pretty easy for them, with any piercing I recommend the Boots Sterile Saline solution, you can grab it buy all the contact lense solution and …

Everything I Want To Achieve Before I'm 30

It's weird to think in 10 years time I'll be 30. It was a whirlwind of a day turning 20, I had mixed emotions the whole way through. I had a lot of panic in me surrounding Uni and general life stuff but at the same time I was excited to be out of my teens and into my 20's. Each year I set goals I want to achieve before the next birthday but for once I wanna give myself more time for these goals. They are fairly big scale but they're things I've always wanted and something I strive for on a daily basis. I've narrowed it down to around 5 main things but let's see what else has landed onto my list as the years go by.

1. Travel Travel Travel: So yeah I really want to explore more places, I don't mean the whole oh yeah I've been on a gap year type of thing but I would really love to spend some time exploring and going round places across the world. I visited Budapest this year and I really have the travel bug to do a few places in one. Let me know where …

Let's Turn Up The Heat

You might have seen this almost a year ago, the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette launched and it hit the beauty world by storm. There was a mixed reaction to it, we all love some warm tones and this palette really delivers that. I couldn't believe something like this was finally coming out from Urban Decay it was about time they delivered. I put off buying it for a while so I could get some honest reviews and see how it did, at the time I was also using a few palettes that had all the warm tones I could get so I decided to get it now, I needed some warm tones in my life and I finally got my fix.

I've tested this out for almost a month now and done quite a few looks and my thoughts are finalized, the palette is staying in my collection and it's becoming a staple. I thought I'd show you one of the looks I did whilst going through my thoughts on the palette. Now the first thing I love about this palette and with any naked palette is that you can easily use the whole palette …

Let's Talk About Sex

Sex should be an experience you enjoy, your first time can be daunting. With a lot of anxiety stirring up it's good to have an insight into what might happen. When you feel like you are ready to have sex it's important to understand the basics, ensuring their consent with those involved and you're staying protected. To prepare you for your first time here are some of the things to know before you have sex for the first time.

First off, it's essential to understand it's not like in porn. You can't expect it to feel like a scene out of porn or fifty shades of grey. But this doesn't mean sex can be boring, you can introduce sex toys and role play and even play with positions. When it's your first time, however, try and keep it as natural as it feels. It's good to start with the basics and allow you and the other person to work out what feels good, you don't want to be bringing other stuff into the bedroom without having an idea of what feels good.

What To Wear For 3 Days In Edinburgh

You might remember in January I took a quick trip to Edinburgh, it was mixed with cold weather and some great times and now I'm going back again at the end of this month. In fact whilst you're reading this I'm on a train on my way back, I thought i'd do a little style diary showing you what I did and wore whilst there. I took a mix of clothes with me, comfort was key but also with the weather not really knowing what it's doing at the moment bringing stuff that would work no matter what was key.

This time round I packed smart, last time I took a stupid amount and didn'r really plan my outfits. For me I like a bit of flexibility, so I could chop and change my outfits incase I change my mind on the day, especially if there's a change in the weather or whatever else can happen. I went with a very easy to wear theme, we did a lot of walking and going round the city so I didn't take anything that would slow me down or feel like a weight on me towards the end …

Packed Train Makeup Routine

Skincare and makeup are they really the things we should be doing on a packed out train that’s going at a stupid rate whilst trying to balance everything on one of the smallest tables known to man? Probably not, however, I did and it was an experience, to say the least. In this situation, you need essentials, the trusty faves that get the job done and provide effortless results. For me, this became key very quickly, during my sardined train to Edinburgh I had a solid 20 minutes to do minimal skincare and makeup before the train would get filled and busy again. So why not talk through and reminisce about the products that got me good and ready to go quickly? Yes, let’s crack on.
Skincare was minimal, and when I mean minimal I mean m I n I m al. I just about slathered on some moisturizer and that was my lot. I couldn’t face waiting ages for my whole routine to be done with so it was a bit of moisturizer and a couple of minutes of relaxation then it was time for the makeup.

Now I was sma…
