The Past Month In Photos #1

This is a bit different for me if you follow me on Instagram which I recommend you do as you’ll see my love for tote bags and the occasional dog photos. But I also do a weekly Sunday Sit Down which is an overall summary of my week. It’s good to have a nosey at but it’s also a great way to remember everything that happened, including all the good and all the bad. If you’re someone who struggles to reflect I highly recommend to do this if you give it a go let me know how you get on with it! But before I go fully off-topic, I’ve wanted to expand the Sunday Sit down to a bigger form, and from a bit of inspiration from Megan Ellaby and a few other bloggers. I decided to an overall view of the month, from a single photo. They say a photo speaks a thousand words, so let’s see how many I can come up with for each post.

-Cosy Club Vegan Fish and Chips

Starting it off is one of my greatest discoveries, well maybe a bit too extreme but for all those vegans out there (add a little comment if you’re veggie/vegan I’m looking to do more tailored content around it) I have found the best Vegan Fish and Chips from the Cosy Club. The combination of tofu, seaweed and batter is something I didn’t think could work, but oh my I was beyond wrong. It is a great combo and the only real downside is that it has to end, I’m really enjoying finding more vegan options in places that aren’t your typical falafel and humous (which are both lovely don’t get me wrong.)

-Graduation Photo

I’ve felt like I’ve done nothing but go on about my graduation, but there was a big part of it that I haven’t really spoken about on here. But the day really gave me a lot of closure, but it also allowed me to feel close to those that are no longer with us. It’s a big cliche when people say past loved ones will be with you on the day but it’s true I felt like my gran was with me the whole day and it really helped me feel less separate from here. If someone else felt like this on their graduation/big event let me know.

-Team photo

Now, this is a bit of a weird one for me, a few years ago I did not think I would be looking at a professional photo of myself and actually liking it. It’s amazing to see a photo that I didn’t have much control of the angles or filters and still be happy with it. I get proud/emotional just looking at them and knowing that I’ve come a long way than how I was a couple of years ago, it’s weird but I’m becoming more comfortable with photos and all that the more I get involved in it. Can I get a whoop whoop for a bit of confidence?

Edinburgh was a weird one for me this time around, I did a lot of self-reflection during this trip and I realised that I'm not in a good place mentally at the moment, but I also took the time from this to realise what I want. And for once I am focusing on myself and forgetting about any relationships, it's not healthy at the moment for me to focus on it so it's about time I submerged myself into my work and blog and get this show on the road.

This was just a small snippet of the past month or so, let me know on Instagram what photo you would use, to sum up, the past month

Until next time, Chloe!
